Fortunately, Mia has a mysterious gift that gives her a lot of comfort: she can communicate with a real, live manatee. Sometimes, they just look in each other’s eyes, and know each other’s thoughts. Other times, Mia’s gift carries her off to an amazing underwater world, filled with incredible creatures.
